Hi, I’m Priscilla Smith

I’m a self-taught chef, food lover, and I work alongside my fiance, Aaron King, in our media agency. My passion for cooking first took root in the most unexpected way—through art.

The art of cooking

Right out of college, I landed a job in the art department at Central Market, where I created all the beautiful chalkboard signage throughout the store.

One of the best perks of working at a grocery store? A free cooking class every month. And trust me—I never missed a single one. I soaked up everything from how to make fresh pasta to sharpening my knife skills, and that’s really where my love for the kitchen began.

From there, I was hooked. I started signing up for cooking classes wherever I could find them—no matter the city or setting. I love learning, experimenting, and trying new foods. Cooking became my creative outlet, and over time, my kitchen turned into a space where curiosity meets nourishment.

OUR STORY

Fast forward to today, Aaron and I run a creative agency together. While I focus on food and storytelling, he’s behind the camera, supporting every step—whether it’s dialing in our Sony settings or hyping me up to just keep creating. We’ve always loved the outdoors, good coffee, and even better food, and we carried that love with us from Austin, Texas all the way to Montana, where we now live surrounded by mountains and fresh air.

Aaron will eat anything I make (bless him), and that gives me the freedom to experiment and explore. Most of my recipes are recreations—classics I’ve fallen in love with, then modified to make them my own. I believe food is meant to be shared, and it doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.

How I cook

I cook with intention: layering spices to build bold flavors, choosing nutrient-dense ingredients, and minimizing processed foods whenever possible. I gravitate toward paleo-inspired cooking, clean eating, and whole food-based meals that nourish from the inside out.

You’ll find a mix of recipes here—some are quick and easy weeknight go-to’s, while others are more involved, designed to challenge and inspire the at-home chef who loves spending time in the kitchen as much as I do.
